MarienTaler | Admission
HELP US TO Preserve
We charge a fee known as the MarienTaler for visiting the church. The MarienTaler is used for the maintenance and preservation of the church and its art treasures. The fee is €5 (reduced rate €3) and can be paid in advance at tickets.st-marien-luebeck.de, on site in cash or by card. For groups, the fee is €4 per person from the 11th person onwards.
Children and young people, as well as members of the congregation, have free admission. The reduced rate applies to students, schoolchildren, recipients of social benefits and people with disabilities.
The MarienTaler is not charged for personal prayer, lighting candles or attending public devotions and church services. St. Mary's Church is available for prayer and devotion during the respective opening hours.
