Life has its ups and downs. It’s always good to share your thoughts and worries. But there isn’t always someone nearby, and you don’t always have the courage to open up. That makes it all the harder to cope with your grief on your own. Someone ist there for you.

City Pastoral Care at St Marien
The pastors and a team of skilled volunteer counsellors at St Marien are available to talk to you. You’ll also find anonymous counselling services listed further down this page, where people are there to listen to you, offer encouragement and suggest ways forward.
Every Thursday from 3 pm to 5 pm, there is someone at St Marien who is there for you – to listen, to show concern, to make time for you and to walk alongside you for a while on your journey. In the north aisle, you will find the pastoral care chapel, a safe space just for you.
General Care Services
That's why the pastors at St Marien are there to talk to you – and there are anonymous counseling centers with people who will listen to you, encourage you, and show you ways forward. Please note, most of them will be in German.
