In This Section
Welcome to a wonderful experience! We hope you enjoy an exciting tour of the vaults!
To ensure that everything runs smoothly, please read our safety instructions for the towers and vaults carefully. If you have any questions, we will be happy to assist you.
Please always follow the instructions of the vault guides
Please do not stray from the tour route and do not enter any cordoned-off areas. Stay with your group
The tour lasts approximately two to two and a half hours. There are no breaks during the tour
Sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing are recommended for the climb. During the cold season, it gets very cold and draughty, especially in the towers, and somewhat stuffy in summer (you may bring a small bottle of water)
During the tour, you will climb spiral staircases with steps of varying heights. Please watch your step (approx. 800 steps in total) when ascending and descending. However, you will receive appropriate instructions before each section
Part of the tour takes place on scaffolding and through narrow passages with low headroom. A head for heights is recommended, but you can also skip a section if necessary. However, please be sure to inform the tour guide
For safety reasons, persons under the influence of alcohol, medication or drugs are not permitted to participate in the tour.
- If you have any physical complaints, please inform your vault guide immediately. All our vault guides are regularly trained in first aid
- The tour is only suitable for children of primary school age and above. For your own safety, babies may not be carried (neither in front of your stomach nor on your back)
- Participation is strictly at your own risk.
